270g apples, peeled
1 tsp fresh lemon zest
1 Tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
150g fresh strawberries, sliced
150g blueberries, fresh or frozen
150g blackberries, fresh or frozen
1⁄4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon, ground
2 Tbsp corn flour
54g Truvía® Calorie-Free Sweetener
1 pie crust
25g butter
Directions
- 1.
Assemble all ingredients; preheat oven to 218°C.
- 2.
Peel and thinly slice apples; place in bowl, top with lemon zest and juice; set aside.
- 3.
In large mixing bowl, place strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, salt, cinnamon, corn flour and Truvía® calorie-free sweetener; blend together; set aside.
- 4.
Place pie crust dough on lightly floured surface; roll out; transfer to parchment-lined sheet pan.
- 5.
Gently combine apple and berry mixtures.
- 6.
Place fruit mixture into center of pie crust; leaving 11⁄2 border around edge of crust; place butter pats on fruit filling.
- 7.
Flip up crust edge towards middle, pleating as you fold up.
- 8.
Bake in 218°C oven for 50-55 minutes; rotate 180° half way through baking.
- 9.
Cool on wire rack; serve warm or at room temperature.
